THERE ARE TWO EVENTS THIS WEEKEND THAT ARE OF INTEREST TO REPUBLICANS!
The Buncombe County GOP Lincoln-Reagan Dinner
The Cooper-River 10-K Bridge run in Charleston
If you haven’t registered for the first – please check this web site link – and join us this Sunday early evening for a fun, fast, and faith-based event to support the gentleman we hope will be our next Governor – Lt. Governor Dan Forest.
Now to the second – the BCGOP Chair is heading to Charleston for the Cooper-River Bridge run. He’ll be wearing a Mark Meadow’s ball cap (passed on by Henry Mitchell) and he wanted to extend a fund-raising challenge for our Congressman.
He’s asking Congressman Meadow’s supporters to commit to a contribution of $10. If he runs the race in under an hour – it’s on the contributor to make the contribution through Congressman Meadow’s web site. If he takes longer than an hour to run the 10K race, he’ll make the contribution. That’s a win-win-win. It’s only $10 – the BCGOP Chair is an old guy on Medicare who will be limping the whole way – and we support our 11th District Congressman.
Email our Chair at email@example.com if you would like to participate. He needs the motivation – Congressman Meadows earns the support!
The best way to contain weeds is to grow good grass – that’s a BCGOP mission…
